STORING PACKABLE HATS

Most of our hats are packable and come with a multi-use biodegradable pouch to allow for longer term storage. We would advise however that it is removed  from it’s packaging periodically to allow it to reshape with ease. Please ensure your hat is stored in dry conditions. 

We’ve illustrated a step by step guide on how to get the perfect roll and place in your pouch.

LE HAT THAT TRAVELS

Packing your Le Hat when travelling is always the most important part of storing your hat. Luckily for you, we’ve built this factor into the making of our hats. Nevertheless, we must be careful not to crush or crumple our hats while packing. 

For our packable hats we’d recommend placing the packet within secondary compartments in your suitcase or on top of your clothes within the primary compartment. If you’ve lost your packet before travelling, simply follow the rolling instructions above and tie a hair tie around to hold in place - you would have received a lovely ByEloise hair band with your purchase - these are available to buy on here.

In the case of our non-packable hats we’d recommend filling the crown of the hat with items of clothing in order to support it. Then, lay the hat flat at the bottom of your suitcase and build on the rest of your packing over the brim but ensure nothing sits on top of the crown.  

 

 CLEANING YOUR HAT

Full of sand, or off of the top shelf full of dust, we’d recommend using a soft bristled brush to keep it clean. If your hat is stained or dirty in any way simply use a damp cloth to wipe away. For other damages caused we’d recommend seeing a local hat repair shop or getting in contact with us to see if there’s anything we can do to help you. 

Avoid getting your hats wet when in swimming pools, oceans or outdoor showers. The dampness will cause an odor and the product will lose its shape irreparably.
